hi thought i would up date how tinky is, she had a accident and broke some of her top beak away vet is still happy with her just have to keep her on her antibiotics and etc...
tinky is very happy thou very bouncy now and likes to boss waddles around, it upset me alot when her beak cracked and then broke but being it top beak they it will grow back maybe better or worse just depends shes still able to eat shes on smaller bird seeds and i give her sneaky chips we cook up and vegies i cook too lol. but even i have seen an improvement in waddles because tinky is happier and wanting to do things and they both love to carry on a night screaming ashlee and all their words cause they dont want to go to bed!
tinky is abit less confident about coming out of her cage because of trips to the vet but she did this years ago and will get over it in time but i am happy with tinky i love watching tinky eat and seeing her crop fill up that is one huge improment to me she was having trouble before the antibiotics but know seems to take everything like a duck to water again!

Hi Ashie, sorry about the accident, but it sounds as though nothing is going to keep tinky down. I am sure tinky will very quickly adapt to the damaged beak and soon be back on normal diet.
I know the antibiotic well and have used it for PBFD for more than 20 years now.  It has lots of added goodies and vitamins so offer a very easy boost.
With a carer like you tinky is going to thrive for a long time to come.

tinky passed away last night, came as a complete shock as she was doing alot better, just a mess i am, but waddles is not taking it well, very sooky and moping to me. at least shes not hurting no more she has been battling this her whole life, i just wish i had more time with her, she was doing so well she got very un trusting after the vets cause she had to have beak cuts etc, but she ended up wanting cuddles again, its not the same without my tinky here!
